By Moses Nampala Over 80 sleeping sickness control field workers in Iganga district are demanding three years salary arrears. The disgruntled staff who sought audience with The New Vision last Tuesday in Kiyunga in Luuka county, said their salary arrears had accumulated since January 1999. Those affected include sleeping sickness orderlies at sub-counties and laboratory assistants at health units. Dr. James Baguma, the district director of health services, said arrangements were underway to pay the salary arrears.
