TZ out of cup

TANZANIA has pulled out of the Nyangweso Cup due October 15-21. Uganda Amateur Boxing Federation (UABF) acting secretary Mohammed Sebuguzi said Dar es Salaam opted out after the event was postponed to dates that coincides with the Tanzania Open. The one-week tournament was earlier scheduled for October 7-14 but rescheduled after Lugogo was booked for other activities. Tanzania had entered two sides Ulinzi and Jeshi la Kujenga Taifa. ends
