Post: Principal Finance Officer. A professional accounting experience of at least 10 years. Should have thorough knowledge of Local Government systems. Experience of Financial Management and should be Computer Literate. DUTIES: Responsible to the Chief Adminstrative Officer for the proper control of Council Finances. To direct, control financial resources of the District and ensure sound overall financial management. Prepare budget estimates, approve payments and handle audit queries. 2. Qualifications: A Honour Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science Degree majoring in Economics or Economics with Statistics from a recognised University. Duties: To monitor and evaluate the effective policy implementation. To monitor and evaluate all plans and projects. To see that they are in accordance with the overall District Development Plans.
