Arua district council on Wednesday resolved to send a five-member team to meet local government minister Bidandi Ssali over their demand to create a new district, reports Ahmed Angulibo. The proposed district of Nyadri, to comprise Koboko, Maracha and Terego counties, was proposed by Adumi district councillor and Speaker Cyril Eriku. The council that sat at the Arua Social Centre chose district council chief Alex Jurua, health committee chairman Kamilo Sabo, RDC Okoth Nyalulu, Chief Administrative Officer Abdul Isodo and Eriku as part of the team. Others were MPs Angupale (Woman), Francis Ayume (Koboko) and Alex Onzima for Maracha.
