By Chris Osekeny Jamu TESO College Aloet in Soroti district and Wiggins SS in Kumi have recalled students recently expelled to strikes but rejected ‘ringleaders.’ Teso College is re-admitting only those in S. 1 to S. 3 but named 13 of them “never to step in the school compound until they are authorised to do so.” The headmaster, Mr. Olipa, said the 13 were ringleaders of the strike in which they nearly lynched teachers and destroyed the school farm and damaged property worth millions of shillings. Students in S. 4 are not yet allowed at school. Government recently announced that plans were underway to arrest and prosecute ringleaders of strikes following the rampant violence in many schools.
