Kasese Gets Sh2.5b

By John Nzinjah OVER sh2.5b, part of the sh9b grant from the Government of Belgium to Kasese district has been released. This was said by the LC5 chairman, Yokasi Bihande, in a district council meeting recently. “The Belgium Government has already released a sh2,545,131,740 grant to us. The money is already on our account,” Bihande said. He advised the councillors to ensure that the money is used as planned for. Bihande said the money would be passed on to sub-counties to boost development in the rural villages. Each parish is to get over sh5m to fight poverty. Ends
