Thugs Kill Man

By Steven Candia A SECURITY guard was killed and two vehicles robbed on Thursday evening when a group of armed thugs went on rampage in Ntinda, a city suburb. Ginario Jungera, an employee of Home Duty Security Guards, was shot dead by the fleeing thugs at about 8:30pm in Kalinabiri in Ntinda. Three thugs, armed with pistols, waylaid Cornelia Sabitti at 7:45pm at the gate of her residence and robbed her to her Toyota Corsa Registration Number UAB 081J, which they later abandoned at Kalinabiri. Kampala Police Chief Ahmed Wafuba, said the same group at 8:30pm disarmed a lieutenant in the UPDF at his residence in Ntinda before fleeing with a rifle, 30 bullets and sh40,000. Wafuba said the same thugs robbed a second vehicle a Nissan pick-up truck, registration Number 201 UBS at Ntinda at 8:30pm. Ends
