MAKERERE University has barred all students who have not paid up tuition fees from sitting any tests.

Ahimbisibwe and Sylvia Mpawulo MAKERERE University has barred all students who have not paid up tuition fees from sitting any tests. “The Committee of Deans, on behalf of the Senate, agreed that a student who has not registered, shall henceforth, not be allowed to sit any test nor submit any coursework assignment,” a circular released after a special Committee meeting said. The meeting held on Friday, noted that since the beginning of 2001/2002 academic year, less than half of the students had paid tuition fees for the first semester. Ends
