THE Ministry of Health has released sh250m to Katakwi district for an emergency health programme.

By Kenneth Otim THE Ministry of Health has released sh250m to Katakwi district for an emergency health programme. The money is to buy drugs, fund sanitation, finance hygiene improvement, immunisation and malaria-health education and support supervision. This is contained in a recent press release from the Office of the President signed by the Presidential Advisor on Economic Affairs, Moses Byaruhanga. The release responded to some issues raised by the LC5 Chairman Steven Ilemukorit during President Yoweri Museveni’s recent visit to the district. A ministry of health team has also been deployed to work with the district disaster team.
