SOS Children's Villages in Uganda, Hermann Gmeiner Schools -- Vacancies

SOS Children's Villages Uganda wishes to fill the following new positions at its expanding SOS Hermann Gmeiner Schools, Kakiri. (i) Head Teacher for Primary School (one position) Requirements: Qualification of Grade 3 or Grade 5 primary school teacher education, and upgraded to university degree level. A strong background in teaching mathematics at primary level. Experience of not less than five years as head of a well-founded primary school. Age range of 33-40 years, dynamic and with good initiative. (ii) Teacher Secondary School (Math & Physics or Math & Chemistry) (one position) Requirements: Qualification of Grade 5 secondary school teacher education or a university degree in teaching Maths & Physics or Maths & Chemistry. Age range of 25-35 years of age. Teaching experience of 3-5 years in a well-founded secondary school. Must be ready to participate with children in sports, music or other extra activity.
