Kasubi Parish Priest Becomes Canon

By Vision Reporter The parish priest of Kasubi, Jonathan Kisawuzi Ssalongo, has been elevated to Canon. Kisawuzi and three others were ordained by Bishop Samuel Ssekadde last Sunday at Namirembe Cathedral. Kisawuzie was later hosted to a reception at Kasubi. “He deserves the promotion because of his devotion to the spread of the gospel. He has skills that have enabled him develop Kasubi,” said Nathan Ntambi, the head of the Kasubi laity. Kisawuzi has initiated several development projects in Kasubi and the parish leads in remitting church dues. Ends
