Jinja Diocesan Development Co-ordinating Organisation (JIDDECO) -- Vacancy

JIDDECO, a Church based organisation is currently running a Gender Responsive Integrated Development Programme (GRID) in the districts of Jinja, Kamuli, Iganga, Bugiri and Mayuge. It is advertising the presence of a post of Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Officer. Minimum requirements: - University degree in Development Studies, Social Sciences, Management Studies or in other related fields. - Significant NGO experience working in partnership with rural, local or community based organisations. - Demonstrated ability or hands-on experience of not less than 2 years in project planning, monitoring and evaluation. - Practical experience with PRA/PLA/RRA methods is a MUST. - Experience in development related research work. - Strong writing, analytical, and computer skills e.g Ms Office. - The applicant must have a strong Christian background. - The applicant should be below the age of 40 years. - Fluency and ability to communicate in the local languages is an added advantage. - Women are specially encouraged to apply.
