Bushenyi boss queries opponent's nomination

Bushenyi district LC5 candidate Mr. Samson Nyine-Bitahwa, has filed a petition to the Electoral Commission (EC) chairman, Hajji Aziz Kasujja, challenging the nomination of his sole opponent Mr. Longino Ndyanabo. Bitahwa seeks the disqualification of Ndyanabo, the Principal of Ibanda Teachers’ College, from the race on the grounds that he was fraudulently nominated because he did not get leave of absence as required by the law.
