By Ronnie Kintu TOM Tikolo, the International Cricket Council (ICC) regional development officer for East Africa arrives in the country tomorrow to conduct the third local cricket academy January 2-16. The ICC Kenyan-based officer who has just concluded three tournaments in Nairobi and Dar es Salaam (December 6-24) will be accompanied by Kenyan internationals Joseph Angara and Steve Tikolo who will help in drilling the youngters. Uganda Cricket Association (UCA) summoned 30 schoolboys who were outstanding in the last Coca-Cola schools cricket week to attend the academy that will be conducted at Lugogo. Cricket-playing schools have been given a chance to present at least two members to attend the two-week academy. The academy fully sponsored by ICC comes after three regional tournaments that saw Ugandans put up a good show in Nairobi and Dar es Salaam.
