Kasese wife sticks in jail

KASESE - Mrs. Eva Bihande, the estranged elder wife of Kasese district chairman Yokasi Bihande, has refused to leave jail. Police were holding her after she stormed Bihande's office on Friday and beat him and the finance secretary, Winfred Kiiza, over alleged marital infidelity. The district Police boss, Pius Mutabazi, yesterday told The New Vision that Mrs Bihande had said she would only go home through the courts of law. Mrs Bihande dismissed reports that she and Bihande were divorced and said she did not intend to divorce him. Ends.
