ADF abandon the sick

By John Thawite THE Allied Democratic Forces have abandoned 30 of their sick, starving wives and children near a UPDF detachment in Kasese district, the area commander has said. Lt. Col. Tumusiime Nyakaitana said the unspecified number of rebels on Wednesday escorted 13 of their families close to an army camp at Kiraro, Kitholu sub- county, before retreating back into the jungles. Last week, he said the rebels also freed 17 women and children. Ends.
