By Vision Reporter FUFA yesterday continued to suffer bad image in the CECAFA senior challenge cup as some foreign teams were thrown out the hotel they were booked in. Ethiopia and Burundi were thrown out of Tourist Hotel after FUFA failed to clear the advance payment the management had wanted. Djibouti was also thrown out of College Inn. The teams at the same time complained of poor organisation of the championship. Burundi, 4-2 winners over Djibouti yesterday went to the afternoon match without lunch. FUFA and Nakivubo stadium management were in panic in the afternoon as they frantically looked for money to pay Hotel City Square where Ethiopia was re-located. Burundi was supposed to shift to Marvin Hotel in Natete. Burundi coach Kazadi Mwilabwe said: "Burundi is going to play without lunch. FUFA has mismanaged the championship. Teams are evicted, lack training grounds, guides and interpreters." Djibouti assistant coach Id Mohammed said: "When we arrived, we almost slept at Nakivubo. This is a bad reputation for FUFA if the attitude does not change. They don't care when we are suffering." One of Tourist hotel's managers, Michael declined to disclose the amount FUFA owes them. "Its against hotel ethics to disclose customer bills, but FUFA owes us some good money," he said. FUFA secretary Godfrey Kisekka said: "We are just trying to relocate the teams from expensive to cheaper hotels." Somalia rejected Marvin opting for Hotel Havana. Guides for Burundi and Djibouti don't speak French making it a communication problem for the two teams. Ends.
