POLICE are to screen a videotape in court filmed at Makerere University, when students allegedly threw materials at President Yoweri Museveni and bullied him, making it impossible for him to address a rally.

By Edith Kimuli POLICE are to screen a videotape in court filmed at Makerere University, when students allegedly threw materials at President Yoweri Museveni and bullied him, making it impossible for him to address a rally. The Regional CID officer Mr. Stephens Otim, recently told court the Police Press Unit, filmed the demonstration by students who disrupted the President's referendum campaign rally at the University, on June 25. Otim told Buganda Road Court chief magistrate Mrs. Catherine Bamugemereire that 33 students were involved in the demonstration before the rally was held at the Freedom Square. Otim however said 18 students threw papers at Museveni making him get annoyed. Ten students of MUK are charged with ridiculing the person of the president, by throwing papers, and other materials at him. Otim said the President was ridiculed. Ends.
