PPU man held over sh15m

BUGANDA ROAD - A UPDF soldier attached to the Presidential Protection Unit (PPU) last Friday appeared in Buganda Road Court over embezzling sh15m belonging to State house. Charles Masereka, 27, denied the allegations before Magistrate Joshua Maruk. Prosecutor Miriam Akite said Masereka and others still at large, embezzled the money on September 7 at Parliamentary Building where the PPU has a cash office. The suspect works in the cash office.
