Terrorist gets 8 years

KAMPALA - Buganda Road court yesterday sentenced a 32-year-old man to eight years' imprisonment for terrorism. The man who appeared before Chief Magistrate Catherine Bamugemereire was reportedly arrested at Nakivubo Blue Room where he attempted to shoot a Local Defence Unit personnel. He reportedly committed the acts of terrorism on Market Street and Duster Street. Bamugemereire said the prosecution had proved the charges beyond doubt. Ends
