Buwembo was reported to be in Turkey for professional trials with an undisclosed first division side, enroute to Dublin, Ireland to join Livingstone Mbabazi with St Patrick's Athletic FC. Okagbue summoned Toto Songe from Mbarara United and Noah Kasule Babadi to bolster Cranes ahead of the Africa Nations Cup game against Senegal on January 13. "I have dropped Buwembo, Bironse and Bantu. I have called Songe and Kasule. When Cranes loses a game, it's not players to be attacked but me," said Okagbue. Argentina based professional Ibrahim Sekajja was present together with Hakim Magumba, but did not train. Professional Abubaker Tabula, Sam Kawalya, Hassan Mubiru, Timothy Batabaire and Jamil Kyambadde out with sickness and studies are still expected. "Why are you delaying the professional tricks," he asked Sekajja who promised to start vigorous training today. FUFA secretary Godfrey Kisekka said the federation was looking around for money to send an air ticket to Mbabazi to fly in next week from Dublin. Mbabazi called The New Vision and said: "I am ready to come for Cranes game provided FUFA sends me a ticket. I am in good shape." Former national striker Charles Ogwang back for holidays from the UK, joined Cranes in the drills at Nakivubo and impressed with his gigantic figure upfront. Euromarkint officials also brought Cranes allowances plus soft drinks for players. At the same time, match tickets for the game printed in Italy will be in Kampala on January 7, according to team promoters Euromarkint. Euromarkint chairman Albrieux Giacomo said from Italy on phone yesterday that he would bring both the tickets and Kappa team kit for Cranes. Euromarkint project supervisor Lambert Tomasso arrives next Wednesday with some of the prizes to be won by ticket holders. The tickets to win fabulous prizes will cost sh5,000; sh8,000 and sh15,000 for Nakivubo stadium. The prizes will be mobile phones, airtime cards, video decks, football video tapes, footballs, T-shirts and other miscellaneous goods. "The tickets have security prove marks to beat off forgers. Everybody would be very happy to win at least a prize in the match we want Cranes to win," said Giacomo. Euromarkint, Nile Special, Parmalat Spa and Robe Di Kappa will sponsor the match. The Senegalese arrive in Kampala on January 11. They are training in France with new coach Frenchman Bruno Metsu. Giacomo said fruit juice Parmalat director from Italy will be in Kampala to watch the match. Ends.
