DUNCAN Sessaazi, a 17-year-old boy from a peasant family in Nakasongola, has overcome financial odds to become one of the best O’level performers in Luweero district.
Sessaazi, a former student of St. Kizito Katikamu Kisule SS, scored aggregate 13 in eight to top in his school.
He got distinction1 in biology, chemistry, mathematics and French, distinction 2 in physics, agriculture and geography and credit 3 in Christian religious education.
The second last born in a family of 19 children, Sessaazi has been depending on Kasana-Luweero Catholic diocese for school fees and upkeep.
He wants to join St.Mary’s College, Kisubi and later study engineering at Makerere University.
