Ask The Doctor

Dear Doctor, I am 24. I ejaculate as soon as I penetrate my girlfriend. What can I do?

When should I stop giving birth?

Dear Acen,
A girl reaches puberty at 8-12 years. The girl’s body changes inside and she starts releasing the female eggs. Monthly periods follow, which is an outward sign.

At this time, a girl can become pregnant. But, this is not okay. The girl’s body is still developing and this will continue into her twenties.

A woman gets peak fertility during the mid twenties. She is most fertile at this time. She is usually at her best health so this may be the best time to have one’s family.

As a woman grows older, she becomes less fertile. She is less likely to become pregnant. Also, she is more likely to miscarry if she becomes pregnant and as the years go by, the child of such a pregnancy is more likely to have a birth defect. For these reasons, it is best to have completed a family by the woman’s late 30s and 40s. It is still possible, especially with help, for a woman of this age to become pregnant. A woman is no longer fertile after the menopause (45-55 years).

I get pre-mature ejaculation
Dear Doctor,

Jim

Dear Jim,
This is called ‘premature ejaculation’. Under such a conditon, the man releases sperms (ejaculates) quickly and he and his partner are not satisfied. It is common at the beginning of one’s sex life. As one gets experience, it decreases in frequency. It may be caused by fear, anxiety, stress, discomfort with your partner and the circumstances. When it happens, do not fear. Continue petting and stimulating each other. Give yourself some time. You will get another erection and you should be able to have sex satisfactorily afterwards. This will boost your confidence.

You can also train yourself, for example, while masturbating, when you are about to ejaculate, stop stimulating yourself. You can start again when you don’t feel like ejaculating. Such training improves your control. Another trick is to squeeze sharply the head of the penis. This stops you from ejaculating and prolongs the erection and sex. You can also masturbate and ejaculate just before you meet your partner. Your doctor can also help you.
