AS he awaits the verdict of the Attorney General on his ministerial status, suspended minister of state for lands, Asuman Kiyingi, is planning to get another title no one can take away from him.

Last Sunday at Alidipsawi Mosque in Naminage in Kamuli district, the Bugabula South MP elect announced his intention to go for Hijja in Mecca this year.

“Allah contributed much to my bouncing back to Parliament. Insh’allah, this year I must become a Haji,” he said to the excitement of the crowd.

Kiyingi contested as an independent candidate and thwarted NRM’s Maurice Kibalya and FDC’s Salaamu Musumba’s attempts to unseat him.
