THE ninth edition of the Captains’ prize golf tournament has attracted Hima Cement’s generous hand once again with a sh40m sponsorship for the annual event that tees off Saturday at Kitante’s Uganda Golf Club.

Cerinah Zalwango, Hima’s marketing and communications coordinator, handed over the package to Uganda Golf Club captain Okello-Ocero at a press conference yesterday.
The Captain’s Prize is played in honour of the out-going UGC captain and also has a sh3m for grabs in the subsidiary professional category.
“We are proud to be partners in this prestigious tournament. Our involvement is to help the sport continue grow,†Zalwango said.
Club captain Okello-Ocero lauded their relationship with Hima and said they were looking forward to an exciting tournament.
