SANTIAGO Jiminez Molina conquered a test of endurance and stamina to win the Lake Victoria triathlon on Sunday.
The towering Jiminez clocked two hours, 28:06 minutes to beat a large field in the gruelling individual race. Nassim Abergel romped home second in 2:38:06 ahead of Jean Yves Dumarche (2:58:21).
The event combined 1000m swimming, 40km bicycle race and a 10km road race. Team Power emerged top in the team event after clocking 2:28:42.
The New Vision team came fourth in the team event with 3:51:58.
