When I arrived at Choma, I did not know what to do. I had never been there before and did not know whether to sit and wait for my date or look for him.

The waitresses were busy and I did not want to bother them. Then I saw a man seated by himself in a corner. I feared to approach him because he looked serious and was busy on his phone.

When I gained courage, I went to him and was pleasantly surprised by his reaction. He stood up, greeted me and pulled out a chair. I felt like a queen. He said he had waited for over 30 minutes and I apologised for being late.

Although I liked him for being open, I got uncomfortable because he was telling me a lot about himself yet we had only just met.

When he said he had fallen for me, I was not offended because he was handsome, caring and a gentleman. Besides, he is the first man I have ever met who is a chef. He even escorted me after the date and I was impressed.

I told him I had a boyfriend, but that I was not engaged. I told him he could wait and if he was patient, anything could happen. He has called me several times since the dinner and I hope to meet him again.

I was excited about the date but when I got to Choma, I became nervous. She had not yet arrived and I decided to play games on my phone. After about 30 minutes, I raised my head and I saw a smashing beauty stretching out her hand to greet me. I had no doubt she was the one.

I quickly got on my feet, took her hand and pulled out a chair for her. She was surprised and told me I was different from the kind of person she expected to meet. She said she had never met a man who was so friendly to strangers.

I introduced myself and went on to tell her about my career and interests. I asked her why she had gone for mystery date and she said she wanted to be part of the lucky people that Saturday Vision gave a chance to meet. I told her it was the same reason I was there, but told her to forget about the Saturday Vision arrangement and talk about the future and the date itself.

From our conversation, I discovered she was an open-minded and honest person. She was also knowledgeable, beautiful and had a nice figure. Her dress was nice and I found out that we both like the same things such as clubbing.

When I told her that I had fallen for her, she said she had a boyfriend who was also a student. But she added that she did not trust men, and said she could give me chance if I showed that I could be trusted. Besides, she liked the fact that I was working and financially stable.
