THE KCB Pearl of Africa Uganda Rally has finally solved the puzzle of finding a place to host the first ever closed route race as directed by world motor sports governing body, FIA.

THE KCB Pearl of Africa Uganda Rally has finally solved the puzzle of finding a place to host the first ever closed route race as directed by world motor sports governing body, FIA.
The event treasurer David Bitalo told a stakeholders’ breakfast meeting at Hotel Africana yesterday that the race will be run on closed roads in Buikwe, Lugazi, Mukono and Kayunga.
Bitalo said that the 524-km rally with a competitive distance of 211-km is expected to be free of accidents because roads will be completely closed to other motorists. The race is scheduled for July 15-17.
