WITH just three Big League games left for each side to the end of the season, Busia-Hoima extended their lead at the top of the Elgon Group to four points after winning 2-1 at home against Misindye FC at Madibila last Sunday.

Busia-Hoima now lead the standings with 25 points, four points ahead of second placed Iganga MC FC.

Action continues today when second placed Iganga hope to narrow the gap with an easier fixture against bottom placed Jinja Arsenal at the Saza grounds. Kase hosts Entebbe at Makerere as struggling Mbale Heroes hosts Misindye in a mid-table clash.

But the biggest match of the day will be at Kakindu when third placed Bul Bidco travel to face fourth placed JMC Hippos in a Jinja local derby.

Bul Bidco’s coach Richard Makumbi called on his strikers to wake up and take maximum points as his team re-builds to find a winning formula that can put pressure on the top two. Bul Bidco will be welcoming back the services of inspirational mid fielder Herbert Kakande from suspension.
