Cleopatra Koheirwe: Singer, actor and writer
THE multi-talented Koheirwe revealed to Agnes Kyotalengerire the secret behind her dreadlocks and beauty. Koheirwe likes dreadlocks because they give her an African look. She has grown them since 2008.

Koheirwe goes to the saloon after every three weeks to have them washed, treated and re-locked for a fresh and neat look. Once in a while, she washes them herself, especially when she feels too hot or after staying in a dusty place.

Besides, water is good for natural hair, she says. Koheirwe uses quality shampoo, protein conditioner, treatment, shine spray, anti-itchy spray and locking wax to keep her dreads looking good, and to aid them to grow longer.

Koheirwe chose a golden brown high light for her dreadlocks because it stands out and blends with her complexion. As part of her physical fitness programme, Koheirwe skips to work her entire body, leaving her muscles toned.

She also takes fruit juice with little sugar and more water. Koheirwe avoids alcohol and soda, and eats only when she is hungry and in moderation.
