Opposition delays shadow Cabinet

The opposition has postponed the announcement of the leader of opposition in Parliament which was scheduled for today.

The opposition has postponed the announcement of the leader of opposition in Parliament which was scheduled for today.

Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) vice president Salaam Musumba has said that the postponement is allow them consult with other opposition political parties to come up with a formidable team.

“We shall announce the leader of opposition in Parliament tomorrow after consultation with our colleagues in the opposition,” she said.

According to Musumba, FDC will announce the leader of opposition in Parliament and the entire shadow cabinet.

Shadow ministers are charged with providing alternative policies to Government.

President Museveni has today (Tuesday) named a Vice President and the Prime Minister at NRM caucus meeting taking place at State House Entebbe.
