State House mourns fallen officer

The State House Anti-Corruption Unit is mourning the death of its officer, David Openy, who died on Thursday night after a short illness.

Openy who was at the centre of several high-profile investigations including the Scandal at the Prime Ministers officer involving the COVID-19 food, mysteriously passed on at Nsambya Hospital where he had been admitted on Wednesday night.

The head of ACU Lt. Col. Edith Nakalema noted that the Openy's death had shocked them.
