THE Kaliro LC5 chairman, Wycliffe Ibanda, has called on his councilors to be honest as they work towards developing the district.

THE Kaliro LC5 chairman, Wycliffe Ibanda, has called on his councilors to be honest as they work towards developing the district.
Addressing his council at the district headquarters after his swearing on Wednesday, Ibanda urged councillors to deliberate on issues that benefit voters.
At the ceremony, Ibanda appointed Charles Wambuzi his deputy. Others were Sanon Bwiire and Sarah Kyalikoba as speaker and deputy, Betty Salaamu in charge of gender, Ibanda Swaaga in charge of environment while Catherine Mudederi was tasked with overseeing education.
Outgoing trade minister and Bulamogi MP, Nelson Gagawala Wambuzi,advised the new chairman to be vigilant on medical workers who steal drugs from the health centers.
The UPDF chief of defence forces, Gen. Aronda Nyakairima, was the guest of honour at the function.
