RAJU Sing outwitted Issa Tuzinde 3-1 in an exciting final in the on-going Nile Special national pool open at Bweyogerere’s Pride Pub Saturday.

Sing, the Namuwongo based Mumu pool club top seed proved a class apart against the home boy in one of the Nakawa division qualifiers at Pride Pub.

The pair qualified for the grand finale alongside Brian Seruwagi who snatched the third place after dislodging Kikram Sing 3-0 in the play-off.

Among the long list of casualties to Sing was 2010 finalist Patrick Mulokole who bowed out in the quarterfinals.

“It was an exciting game. I believe this is the beginning of a great career for me in pool,” Sing declared after the triumph.

At Capital Night in Kamwokya, Ali Sebaana led the cut after beating Issa Mayanja 3-1 while Stephen Mwesigye snatched the third slot.

In Seeta, Isma Mulindwa, Uzair Kamoga and Isaac Lwanga joined the list to the grand finale.
The two-month event involves action in 40 centers countrywide.

Action shifts to the northern region qualifiers in Arua, Lira, Gulu and Kitgum next week.
