A tall, handsome man
When I got the chance of going on a blind date, I vowed to make a lasting impression on the man I would meet. I chose my best attire for the evening. When I got to the restaurant, I failed to locate him, yet I had been informed that he was already there.
As I waited, I saw a smartly dressed handsome man seated at a table alone. I suspected he was the one. However, after a short time, another woman joined him.
At that point, I inquired from the reception about my date. The waitress took me to a tall man seated at the extreme corner of the restaurant.
He gladly received me and said I was the kind of girl he expected. He said I was very beautiful. I am a business lady and a singer while he is a student.
Although he was a nice, humble and humourous man, he was not the type I expected. I had expected an employed, smart and responsible gentleman.
I also wanted one who owns a car so that he would drive me home or take me for another outing. However, the dinner was nice, the food and service impressive. He called me later to find out if I had arrived home safely.

When I arrived, I sat, expecting my date to locate me. I waited for over 15 minutes before I started looking around, just in case any lady was lonely and seemingly waiting for someone.
But I could not locate any. Fortunately, a waitress came to me, asking if I had an appointment with someone. Later, she returned with a beautiful lady. I could not believe she was my date, but quickly composed myself to greet her.
I received her and offered a seat. Although I had been nervous, I calmed down and we enjoyed the evening. She was nice, humble and spoke well. I liked everything about her.
She is a business lady and I liked the fact that she is enterprising. I told her I had applied to go for mystery date because I wanted to meet someone. She was inquisitive and I think my answers were satisfactory.
When we left, I called her to find out how she was and whether she had arrived safely. However, we have not met since the date because
I have been upcountry.
