Dates did not talk to each other, until someone intervened

Jul 08, 2011

Before I got to Choma, I was informed that my date had already arrived. When I got to the restaurant, I inquired from the reception. A waitress took me to where she was seated. We exchanged greetings and made orders for the food. She, however, did not believe I was her date.

Before I got to Choma, I was informed that my date had already arrived. When I got to the restaurant, I inquired from the reception. A waitress took me to where she was seated. We exchanged greetings and made orders for the food. She, however, did not believe I was her date.

She insisted she was waiting for someone else, but I convinced her I was the one. I did my best to impress her. Although she was cagey at the beginning, she later opened up. She gave me her phone number and e-mail address willingly. When she got home later that evening, she called me to find out if I had arrived safely.

The following day, she asked if I could go with her to the New Vision offices, but I declined because I was busy.

I promised to go dancing with her.
I did not ask her whether she had a boyfriend because she had told me she was in S.6 vacation and I assumed she had not gone into any relationship.

She was a jovial and social lady and I hope I do not miss the chance to date her. She had nice eyes, nice skin complexion and spoke so well.

The food was nice, the place cool with a good service.

mystery date to be?
A handsome man

When I got to Choma, I was informed my date had not yet arrived. I hoped to get a tall, gentle and handsome man. As I waited, a man came and sat at my table.

Initially, I did not give him attention because my focus was on the one I was supposed to meet. We asked for food and he initiated a conversation, which I politely declined as I waited for my date. However, I was later surprised to see someone from Saturday Vision introducing him as my date.

He asked me about school, home and career. Although he did not fit into the ideal man I expected, I think he was a nice guy.
I did not want to talk about relationships because we were strangers. He was humourous and spoke so well. When I got home, I called him to find out if he had arrived safely. He promised to take me out.
