EX-professional Stephen Kasaija broke the dominance of Phillip Kasozi after firing 72 to claim the MTN July Mug at Uganda Golf Club on Sunday.

Douglas Mazune reports that Kasaija beat his former national teammate John Basabose to the accolade by one stroke. Kasozi had a day earlier maintained his winning streak with June Mug.
In Group A, Karim Somani who had won the June Mug completed a fruitful weekend when he shot four under par 68 to capture the July Mug. He beat Phrase Lubega by two strokes.
