THE administrative crisis that has rocked Express FC in recent months could come to end following the changes that were undertaken yesterday.

Former chairman Vincent Bbaale Mugera bounced back to the helm of the club’s administrative set-up in one of the seven changes withing the club’s heirachy.

The veteran official, who had previously been serving as the club’s board president replaced acting chairman Kavuma Kabenge.

In a meeting held at Kabira Country Club in Bukoto yesterday, a tentative committee of seven people was picked to bring sanity back to the club as they prepare for the general elective assembly on a date yet to be comfirmed.

Kabenge, who has been accused of running the team on personal conditions, has been redeployed as a Uganda Super League (USL)/FUFA coordinator while former fans coordinator Francis Ntalazi bounces back as chairman technical. Others are Peter Nkuggwa (Mobiliser), Matovu Wasswa (welfare), and Hajji Musa Sewava as treasurer.

After the meeting, new club chairman Mugera said that the new executive members were scheduled to report the changes to club patron Prince Kassim Nakibinge today.

“Right now the confusion is over, the new executive will report to the club patron tomorrow (today) about the outcome of the meeting and immediately we start restructuring the team,” Mugera said.

Interim club secretary John Kitenda revealed that they will look into the issue of the coach and players as soon as the patron approves the committee.
