Uganda has lost HIV fight – Activists
Uganda has lost the fight against HIV/AIDS because of her satisfaction with past successes. Dorcas Amoding, the advocacy and communications manager of the Community Health and Information Network, said the HIV situation in the country was deteriorating because the government had relaxed on the pandemic. She disclosed that 341 people are infected with the virus in Uganda everyday, while many cannot access anti-retroviral drugs. Amoding was addressing journalists on health community reporting at Lake View Hotel in Mbarara on Friday.
