I was very disappointed with National Water

EDITOR: Something seems to be amiss at the National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) lately. Not long ago, NWSC and the Uganda Revenue Authority were lauded for being among the best managed and most effective public institutions.
EDITOR: Something seems to be amiss at the National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) lately. Not long ago, NWSC and the Uganda Revenue Authority were lauded for being among the best managed and most effective public institutions.
However, my experience with NWSC recently has been anything but enjoyable!
It all started when I wanted to get water connected to my house.
I paid all the dues at the Kireka branch and was promised prompt service. Alas! It took them two long months to show up and when they did they had only the pipe.
It took almost another month for them to return—this time with only the iron rods and meter but without the stop cork which they rudely ordered us to buy for ourselves! I am very disappointed. NWSC, is this the way to go?
