Uganda national team coach Bobby Williamson has named his squad to face Kenya in Uganda's campaign towards the 2012 Nations Cup finals.

Uganda national team coach Bobby Williamson has named his squad to face Kenya in Uganda's campaign towards the 2012 Nations Cup finals.

Speaking to media at FUFA headquarters Mengo Wednesday afternoon, Williamson named Brian Omony and Mike Serumaga among the players who will clash with Kenya's Harambee Stars.

The date and time for the highly anticipated game is yet to be confirmed.

"We have written a proposal to CAF with a resolved date of 8th October for the Uganda-Kenya game," said FUFA President Lawrence Mulindwa.

Mulindwa has urged the public to keep away from the contentious issues that have recently taken charge of Uganda football and to focus on the upcoming Nations Cup game.

"FUFA is very focused because we have a mission and a vision to fulfil. We hope to provide a conducive preparation environment for the technical team, the players and all the fans," said Mulindwa.

Williamson said after the defeat in Angola, the entire team was disappointed but are looking forward to a much needed result come October.

According to Mulindwa, the printing of tickets is under-way for early sale. Ordinary tickets will sell at UgSh 20,000 and VIP tickets will go for UgSh 50,000
