EDWIN Mugisha has won the slot to the world scrabble championships due in Warsaw, Poland next month.

To qualify for the trip the player topped the three-day playoffs qualifier at Bakuli after registering 16 consecutive victories to make a total of 24 out of the 30 games.

Greens Kamugisha too put up a spirited performance to finish in second place beating top seed Richard Geria by a win on Tuesday.
