Yet according to research, the Hepatitis B virus is 100 more infectious than HIV, the virus that causes AIDS.

The chronic form of Hepatitis B will gradually progress to complications, such as scarring of the liver (cirrhosis), liver cancer and chronic liver failure, which eventually leads to death.
