Jamal's unplugged music show

Singer Jamal Waswa Rafik’s Christmas message to his fans was so far the best. Jamal held a live performance in Club Silk’s Ocean on Christmas day that left fans asking for more.

Although his songs are understandably few, just eleven songs, but they came out so nice to the excitement of the fans.

Unlike most of the unplugged shows in the club; which are affected by sound glitches; Jamal’s music show was far better. The appearance of the band instruments which showed that they were new gave the singer confidence and vigour to wow his fans.

The seven-member band; Soul Beat Band that included two guitarists; a drummer; a keyboard player; two beautiful female back-up singers and Jamal as the main performer, did not disappoint. They were cheered by incessantly by the excited crowd that filled the Club Silk’s Ocean to capacity.

As one of the fans put it; the sound system was imported; it was so clear and the singer’s voice came out clearly, making his performance a favourite. Jamal performed alone, no any other artiste came over to sing with him that night; he had two sessions.

He first sang six songs in the first session, which included Oba Wuwo; Kagende; Akagambo; Anavawa; Abazadde(new song); Omwana yo and when he returned for the second session, he sang Ononsonyiwa; Saba Kyoyagala; Sokka osabe; abakyala Bazila and Eno Love.

He fully engaged his fans for two hours. He concluded his show with bonus songs which were requested by his fans.
