Impress her without spending

We are living in the times where the mention of the word ‘spending’ is almost equivalent to hearing a gun shot. It gets worse that we live in a society that has shaped us to believe that you have to spend a lot of money to impress a woman. Well, with the rocketing prices there are those that have given up on the dating game. If you are that kind of person, relax I bring you good news. You can impress a woman without accumulating debts.

I know creativity is not usually one of those inborn things but desperate times call for desperate measures. By desperate measures, I do not mean you have to go to the extremes of having a baby with Moze Radio. Lillian Mbabazi, how desperate can you be? Okay, back to the main point. You have to think of places where you can take your date without spending a lot of money. A picnic can be romantic yet it’s a cheap idea. Or perhaps you can attach some emotions to a cheap restaurant. You can try this out; “I brought you here because this is the first place my mum brought me to. I brought you here because you are special”. You probably hate cooking but a home cooked meal can pass off as very romantic and at the same time be very cheap.

 Be original:

Well, if you listen to Ugandan music, you will realize originality is not our thing. Hey, but you can always try. Forget about the cliché dates. Do something she’s never done or even thought of before. Grab a bottle of wine, a couple of glasses and a blanket, and take her on a place with a nice view. However make sure it’s not one of those places that have been declared out of bounds by Kaihura and his boys. Trust me; there is nothing heroic about being caned in front of a woman.

Women love to feel pretty, It does not matter how many times they’ve been told they want to hear it. Why do you think women like Halle Berry still blush when they are complimented? I mean, she must hear it every micro second. Women want to feel like they are the most attractive person in the room, even when they first crawl out of bed in the morning. They also love to be told when something they do pleases their man. Simple compliments tell women that you notice and you care. But, do not use this excuse to make silly sexual comments. A statement like: “Great body, I wonder how it looks without the clothes” is no compliment.

 Teach her something:

Take an opportunity to become “superman”, by teaching her something she has always wanted to do. If you can teach a woman something that she has always wanted to do, she will see you as her hero from day one. You can teach her how to play pool. Pool is one of the cheapest things you can do in a bar. Each time she plays pool she will always remember you. Or, you can teach her how to swim. Be sure to do your homework on the cheap places that offer swimming.

 Keep it casual:

If you insist on taking her to a restaurant, don’t go the dinner route. Go for a cheaper option like Ice cream. In fact make it clear when you are asking her out. For insistence, it should be Can I take you for ice cream instead of can I take you out?

 While talking with girls, learn to strike a healthy conversation. Avoid topics that can cause embarrassment to both of you, and learn to speak in moderation. Girls love talking and if you talk too much, they don't get an opportunity to speak, and will definitely lose interest in you. Instead, show some interest in what she says. Find out more about her hobbies and interests. If she too asks about you, make sure you speak briefly, and give her more chance to speak.

Guy seriously, do you have to take a woman out to tell her that you like her? Do you really have to buy her expensive gifts to prove that you really like her? You can just tell her you like her, give her the space she needs, and she will definitely give you the attention you are looking for after some time.
