KCC FC and Bunamwaya SC have turned to talks even before the FUFA players’ status committee makes a final ruling over winger Brian Majwega.

KCC spokesperson Aldrine Nsubuga admitted that there were talks in the background over the future of Majwega. The player, still on contract with KCC, went on to sign a three-year contract with Bunamwaya without the knowledge of his employers.

“We are having talks in the background and soon we will announce that we have agreed,” Nsubuga said when contacted for comment.

It is reported that documentary evidence was presented before the committee and Majwega also admitted that he had extended his stay at KCC for another year, though he claimed that failure to pay him all the dues in full forced him to walk out.

However, Isa Magoola, the committee chairman refused to reveal anything that happened in the meeting saying that they were yet to make a final decision.

“We received evidence and we will meet to discuss it on October 10,” said Magoola.

Another case still pending is that of defender Ayub Kisaliita who wants to leave Bunamwaya for SC Villa. Bunamwaya claim the Kobs player is still on contract though Villa claim to have signed him.
