Former Champions SC Villa and Bunamwaya failed to secure wins against what would be termed a paper weight clubs as the Uganda Super League action continued at different venues Tuesday.

Despite bringing in new recruits, SC Villa was pushed to the wall by a rejuvenated Masaka LC- who survived the drop by just a place last season. The Jogoos then succumbed to a late half strike courtesy of Daniel Oyirwoth. Oyirwoth had seen his first half charges being denied by SC Villa custodian Benjamin Ochan.

Elsewhere, KCC romped to a 4-1 victory against UTODA, in the highest scoring match of the day broadcast live on Super sport.

A brace from Dan Ssekayombya and Mike Birungi were enough for the Mayor's boys to carry the day as they welcomed UTODA into the top flight. Idd Ssebalata struck one for the taxi men but it was not good enough to make any change on the final score.

Bunamwaya were held by Water FC that was promoted to top flight while Express won courtesy of a
second half penalty well taken by Edgar Luzige.
