Chandiru quashes news of engagement to ex husband

The fake news was sparked off by a picture of an engagement ring on a finger that was posted on Chandiru’s Twitter account. However, she says that picture was posted just for fun and should be treated as such.

In an interview with Saturday Vision in 2018, former Blu 3 musician, Jackie Chandiru, intimated that she had no intentions of ever getting married again.

This was a few weeks after she had bounced back from rehab and so, she was on a journey of recovery to fit into her normal. She revealed, then, that marriage would be a big distraction in her new life.

First forward, after taking a decision to spend sometime in abroad due to her persistent health problems, news spread all over the Internet that Chandiru had found new love and that she was engaged to her ex husband, Nol Van Vliet.

This didn't sound sweet at all in Chandiru's ears. Upon hearing the news, she took to social media to quash the claims.

In a bitter statement, Chandiru said that the fake news would not only cause defamation but jeopardize his ex husband's current marriage. He urged bloggers to stop it.

"You are destroying someone's marriage somewhere, but clearly to you, it is all about likes and comments. my ex-husband has completely nothing to do with my current life," Chandiru said

Chandiru added that she made a mistake of putting her private life into public and that she will never make that mistake again.

" I'm happy where I am and when I'm ready to reveal my personal data, I will but, before that, patience please. Do not  rush my life like it is yours. The gentleman you troll (Ex husband) is and has been an amazing person to me and never did any of those things you keep saying about him which makes me sad, because it is pathetic,"
