Lakor's is a story of a difficult journey in which he saw three of his siblings killed.

REAL LIFE

One rainy night in 1997, Louis Lakor and his family were at home sleeping when pandemonium erupted.

Joseph Kony's Lord's Resistance Army (LRA) rebels had attacked. They kicked everyone out of the house, shot and killed Lakor's parents and one of his sisters, before ordering the rest to "get moving!".

This was the beginning of a difficult journey in which Lakor saw three of his remaining siblings killed.

Twenty years later, he is a completely transformed man working very hard to rehabilitate and provide training in vocational skills to former child soldiers in Northern Uganda.

His story, produced in podcast format, is a gripping tale of resilience, hard work and forgiveness. We have part 1.
