Masseruka was arrested after a Police dog led investigating officers to his home.

"The door to Masseruka's house had bloodstains," Onyango said, adding that "the blood samples have been submitted to the government analytical laboratory for forensic analysis."

He (Onyango) revealed that the suspect (Masseruka) told Police that "there is a friend of his who came there in the morning to see him."

According to Onyango, it was also found that the murderers after killing the deceased covered the doorway with clothes not to allow blood to flow. This was aimed at covering up the murder, according to investigators.

By press time, Police were still hunting for the deceased's house-help (maid) and a milk vendor who never turned up for work on Monday - the morning after the murder. Until yesterday, their whereabouts remained unknown, according to Onyango.  Ends
